Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you (and the organization you represent) and [Registered business / proprietor name] ([Sole Proprietorship]), operator of Party Script(the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not require a physical signature.

1. The Service

Party Script is a software-as-a-service event operations workspace for managing tasks, vendors, budgets, RSVPs, run-of-show, files, issues, and related event workflows. We may add, modify, or discontinue features over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
  • You must provide accurate, current information and be authorized to act for your organization.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity within your organization's workspace.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Service or attempt to breach its security or access other organizations' data;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content;
  • use the Service to send spam or violate any applicable law (including data-protection law in respect of guest data you upload);
  • reverse engineer, resell, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.

4. Plans, billing & taxes

  • The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro, Agency) plus optional paid team seats, billed monthly in advance in INR via Razorpay.
  • Paid team seats are charged on a prorated basis for the current month at the time of purchase, then recur monthly.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated; we may revise pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.
  • Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your data & ownership

As between you and us, you own the content you put into the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents for any third-party (guest/vendor) data you upload.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by [Registered business / proprietor name] and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited right to use the Service and do not transfer any ownership to you.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may perform maintenance and may suspend the Service where necessary.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (Supabase, Razorpay, Resend, Netlify). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these providers beyond our contractual arrangements with them.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or as required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases; certain clauses (e.g. liability, governing law) survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Registered business / proprietor name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Registered business / proprietor name] from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts at [City], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

14. Grievance redressal

For any complaint relating to the Service or these Terms, contact our Grievance Officer [Grievance Officer name] at sushant@partyscript.in. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 30 days.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are indicated by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
